Dear Families,

What a great 2nd week! Hope Academy teachers participated in a Strategic Operating Plan Follow-Up on Saturday. We remain amazed at their level of dedication and expertise.

Mr. Johnny’s keyboard/guitar sessions are going well. Ms. Claire’s class has started its hip-hop P.E. group, with help from 8th grader, Laney. Art and music classes start this week for Academy 3, 4, 5, and Virtual Hope.

Upcoming School Dates:

• Preschool Open House will by held this Thursday, September 2, from 6:30-7:30.
• No school on Monday, September 6.
• Preschool starts on Tuesday, September 7, for Academy 2 (Ms. Brenda) and on Wednesday, September 8, for Academy 1 (Ms. Teresa).
• Donuts for Dads will be on September 29 at 8:00am.

We are excited about our newest fundraising event, the HOPE Relay, scheduled for Saturday, November 13, 2010. Read more at www.projecthopesc.org/hope-relay.
