Hello Parents,
The school year may be winding down, but our students are still hard at work! We want them to continue making great progress!
This Thursday, May 12, Academy 4 & 5 will visit Camp Greenville for the day. Please have your child(ren) here by 8:00 am, dressed in their red hope tshirt and closed toe shoes. They may bring a bag for clothes change (if you feel they will need it), something to entertain them on the bus (electronic items must have headphones), and a light jacket. The weather is quite different in the mountains. Please contact your teacher if you have questions.
Please drop by Master Kim's Breakathon this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CLC Gym. Your kids will have fun breaking boards and watching the masters' demonstrations (scheduled for 11:30 a.m.). Proceeds benefit Project HOPE Foundation.
Next week, we will be celebrating our teachers with a week of appreciation. We are planning some special treats from our end, but we encourage you and your children to use imagination and creativity to create some special moments for your teachers this year.
Our end-of-the-year program is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Friday, May 27. Please join us for this special time for all the students. Classroom recognition schedules will be sent out by your teacher (some will be before the program, some after to accommodate siblings). Plan to join us for lunch in the CLC Gym to celebrate!
I am attaching the nomination form for the 2011 Hope Award. Anyone associated with Project HOPE and Hope Academy can be nominated for this award (except Ms. Susan and Ms. Lisa), so please take a look at the form and make your nomination. The recipient of this year's award will be announced at the end of the year program.
If you have photos from any Hope events, please share them with us! You may send them in on a disc. We'll even provide the discs if needed!
I hope you have a great week! Please let us know if we can do anything for you
