A huge thank you to all the parents who delivered food, set up the room, and helped clean up for the Grandparents' and Special Friends' Brunch. It was a delight to meet our student's Grandparents and Special Friends. You would be so proud of your children! They all got the opportunity to make a presentation for the entire group. We strive to provide excellent public speaking opportunities for our students.
If you delivered food for the brunch and are missing dishes, please claim them from room 110, next to the school office.
K5 – 5th and Virtual Hope classes have a field trip to YMCA Camp Greenville this Thursday. All the information for this trip was sent home today. Please read it carefully. We need the two (2) permission slips returned by Wednesday. The permission form for Camp Greenville needs to be filled out by students and adults. Note that we are leaving at 8:15 promptly (please arrive around 7:50am) and will return at 4:00 pm. The cost of the trip is $15 which includes transportation. Lunch and snack is included. Please see the information sent home regarding the menu for the day. We do not require chaperones for this trip.
The March newsletter is posted on the website at www.projecthopesc.org/hope-academy-newsletters. Please take a moment to see the news in your child’s classroom.
Stop by the bulletin board outside the office to discover our Rays of Hope project. The message to the HOPE community (parents, therapists, teachers, volunteers) is that if each of us can give a little - literally get one item or fulfill one volunteer time need - then we will pull off the best Golf Tourney and Charity Auction to date. Together we have an amazing group of connections and gifts, and we want to maximize the potential of this Foundation. The Rays of HOPE will be located in main hallway at Hope Academy (by Tuesday, March 8th) and in the lobby at Hope Reach (by Friday, March 11th).
Procedure:
· Select a Ray of HOPE, log your name, pick up donation receipt and off you go.
· Bring item or volunteer name back to HOPE
· *We will replenish the Rays of HOPE as needed - ones displayed are to get creative minds going out into the community of giving*
· If you do not see a Ray of HOPE that works for you, please feel free to bring us some sunshine through your own Ray of HOPE!
We still have a few spaces available in our classrooms for next year. Please let us know if you have friends who are interested in enrolling their child at Hope Academy.
Have a great week.
