On Thursday, February 10, we will be hosting the 2nd Hope Invitational Social Gathering. If you are interested in learning about our golf tournament while getting to know other Hope families, join us at Olympian Grill, 6 - 8pm. If you want to be part of the golf planning team, please drop by the meeting on either Thursday 2/10 at 4:30-5:30pm or Tuesday 2/15 at 6-7pm in room 110. Call Mark Martin at 907-8449 with questions.
We need RSVP information for Grandparents and Special Friends that you would like to invite to the Grandparent's Brunch on March 4. Please email or call the office with the mailing address of your special friends.
We are all excited about Mauldin High School’s Spirit Week, which starts this Friday. Academies 3, 4, and 5 will be attending the kick-off pep rally. We will all wear our Hope t-shirts. We will leave at 9:45. Please let teachers know if you are available to drive. If you want to order an official Spirit Week t-shirt, they are $10 and you can send in an envelope with the sizes ordered (Adult only, S, M, L, XL, 2XL) and payment. Checks made payable to Mauldin High School or cash. Orders are taken until Wednesday only.
We have many options for your participation on Saturday:
· 5K walk/run at 9:30 - You can register early at: http://www.mauldinspiritweek.org/index.php or you can register on Saturday morning. The entry fee is $25. If you are unable to walk or run, please think about coming out to cheer!
· Dance Team Competition from 12-3:00. Attendance is $5.
· Watch the Ultimate Frisbee Tournament from 3-5 pm for $5.
· Eat at Joy of Tokyo or the Mauldin Sonic, using a profit-sharing ticket (download at http://www.mauldinspiritweek.org/profit.php)
Sunday can also be a busy day:
· If you are a swimmer, think about participating in the Laps for Love on Sunday from 2-5 pm. Information is at: http://www.mauldinspiritweek.org/community-events.php
· Girls ages 5-14 can participate in Little Miss Orange and White Pageant from 4-6pm, based on Spirit Wear and Pageant Gown/Dress categories. Learn more at http://www.mauldinspiritweek.org/community-events.php. Tickets are $5.
· Come cheer on our 4 Hope teams in the Dodgeball Tournament from 6-8. $5 tickets.
· Eat from 1-3 pm at Mimi’s Café and from 5-9 pm at Red Robin, using a profit-sharing ticket (download at http://www.mauldinspiritweek.org/profit.php)
