Happy November!

We hope you all had a great time at HopeFest!  We had 95% of our families participate in the activities.  Wow!  We also had 20 alumni return from high school or college to be here for the day.  Thank you to Kathy Sizemore and Heather Stickler for the hard work of coordinating this year's event, and to all the moms, dads, teachers, students, and alumni who volunteered in the classrooms.

Please note that we have NO SCHOOL tomorrow for Election Day.  Please remember to vote.

Thank you for all who volunteered and shopped at Whole Foods during the fund-raiser.  We earned over $2900 in one day!

Academy 5 is attending a Peace Center performance on Friday.  Please remember the Hope T-shirt.  Also, we are asking that the students in Academy 4 and 5 wear blue jeans with the Hope shirt on Friday.  We will be taking some photos of these classes on Friday.

We have received some corporate donations for the Hope Relay that will allow some high school and college teams to run for free.  Please go to www.projecthopesc.org/hope-relay to sign up or for more information.  Please pass this along to any high school or college runners who may be interested.  The event is Saturday, November 13. 

Fall Into Fashion is right around the corner on Sunday, November 14, from 2-4pm.  Please drop by the office to purchase your ticket for $25.  It is a fun afternoon for just the ladies!  Dads, earn some points by keeping up with the kids and letting mom have an afternoon off!

The annual Thanksgiving Feast for the students is Tuesday, November 23.  Diana Ramirez is the event coordinator.  We are in need of parents or grandparents who will volunteer the morning of the event.  There are a variety of opportunites to help, from one hour to all morning.  Please call Diana at 864-228-7946, or email teamhope@projecthopesc.org.
