Group Facilitator, LaTisha Amos

LaTisha Amos was born in Beatrice, Nebraska, but has lived most of her life in Spartanburg, SC. After graduating from Paul M. Dorman High School, she attended the Art Institute of Atlanta-Dunwoody to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. After living in Atlanta, LaTisha returned back to Spartanburg and was offered the opportunity to work with special needs individuals at WorkAbility, an affiliate of The Charles Lea Center. While there, it was LaTisha’s main goal to teach job skills to special needs employees, so they could obtain gainful employment and work independently in the community.

What was supposed to be a temporary job immediately became a passion. As the years passed, LaTisha was promoted to an Area Production Manager where she helped oversee day to day production of thework floors, supervised staff and employees while still promoting the importance of independence and quality of life. In her spare time, LaTisha enjoys working part time at The Children’s Academy in Spartanburg and also creating different types of art.

She is very excited to bring her ten years of experience to Hope ALIVE and to help make a difference.
